(Bloomberg) -- A former Swiss banker charged four years ago with helping Americans evade taxes won a last-minute appeal for a new chance to fight his extradition to the U.S.

Roger Keller, one of three Wegelin & Co. bankers indicted in the U.S. in January 2012, won a complaint at Germany’ Federal Constitutional Court ordering a new hearing in the case, according to his lawyer Sebastian Gall. The ruling overturns a Frankfurt court that in October had cleared the extradition.
