(Bloomberg) -- Nestle SA and Unilever are grappling with tougher times in emerging markets, which could weigh on their first-quarter results Thursday. Nestle needs to jump-start growth in India, where its Maggi noodles faced a recall last year, while Unilever is recovering from a sales slump in China. The slowdown will have a bigger effect on Nestle due to its wider operating margins in developing countries, said Alain Oberhuber, an analyst at MainFirst Bank AG.
