(Bloomberg) -- Power in the center of Zurich, home to banks including Credit Suisse Group AG and UBS Group AG, has been restored after an almost hour-long power failure.
EWZ, the local electricity provider, said in a tweet that it’s trying to determine the cause of the power failure. The outage lasted almost an hour, according to EWZ.
A Credit Suisse spokesman said its operations weren’t interrupted by the outage while Julius Baer Group Ltd. said backup power allowed operations to continue as normal. Asset manager BlackRock Inc. said it was affected by the power failure but is now back up and running.
