Expo.02 – was it worth it?
The conclusion of Switzerland's five-month-long national exhibition, Expo.02, in the lakeside towns of Neuchâtel, Biel, Murten and Yverdon-les-Bains, has led people to question the relevance and future of such large-scale events. Expo.02 received mixed reviews, including praise for its architectural and artistic presentations, and criticism for its enormous budget and lack of educational content.
