Hi! My name is Shubhangi. I moved to Switzerland last September to pursue my Masters in Physics at ETH Zürich. Apart from studying the laws of nature, I enjoy capturing the small, colourful moments of life. My passions are travel and photography.

Vanakam (வணக்கம்)! I’m Arasan. A bachelor’s in business administration followed by a corporate stint at a bank didn’t appease me. I tumbled into Switzerland a year ago to pursue a master’s in banking and finance at Hochschule LuzernExternal link. When not juggling numbers, I perform culinary experiments. Books are my best buddies and I am an avid traveller who loves exploring off beat locations in unconventional ways.

Let’s take this ride together. Post your questions, comments, criticisms and fan messages on our dedicated Facebook groupExternal link.

I am Devendra, an Indian Masters student at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ). I am an engineer by education but my love for travelling is my passion.

I moved to Switzerland in February 2018 from Pune, India. Fast forward a few months, and here we are! As a foreigner, especially an Indian student, at the beginning, everything felt different. It was a very different culture than mine but slowly and steadily, I got used to Swiss customs and a new language. After that the Alpine nation opened itself to me!

I have got a unique set of experiences as an Indian student studying in Switzerland. I would be more than happy to share them with you!

My name is Gaurav Singh and I am from Delhi, India. I am a student of Master of Science in Statistics at the University of Neuchâtel and have been living in Switzerland for two and a half years. As the only Indian my class, I was able to interact regularly with students from other countries including Switzerland, and that helped me to know more about them and their cultures.

I was also fortunate enough to spend a year living with a Swiss family as a paying guest. This gave me a unique insight into Swiss life that I wish to share with you.

As a foreigner in Switzerland, I also experienced some challenges that I had to overcome and some difficulties that seemed unsurmountable at the time. I aim to give you an honest picture of the realities of being an international student in Switzerland.
