Cugnasco house

The Cugnasco house from below Val Verzasca.

It was built in stages. The first, the "tower house", dates back to the 1740s. It was made of stone and consisted of two small rooms, one on top of the other. The most recent addition is from the 1850s and is a symmetrical pair of semi-detached houses each with their own kitchens, fireplace and chimney.
