BRASILIA (Reuters) - Brazil's Foreign Ministry has summoned Uruguay's ambassador on Tuesday to explain comments reportedly made by Uruguayan Foreign Minister Rodolfo Novoa related to Venezuela and the presidency of Mercosur trade bloc.

Uruguayan media reported that Novoa had accused Brazil's government of trying to prevent the transmission of the temporary presidency of the trade bloc from Uruguay to Venezuela.
