LIBREVILLE (Reuters) - Gabon's Constitutional Court began hearing arguments on Thursday in advance of its ruling on an election that opposition leader Jean Ping said was rigged to give President Ali Bongo victory, a Reuters witness said.

The court is expected to rule later on Thursday or on Friday on a complaint by Ping and it could announce a recount or final results from the Aug. 27 vote.
