ALMATY (Reuters) - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev appointed his eldest daughter Dariga a lawmaker in the Senate, the upper chamber of the Central Asian nation's parliament, on Tuesday, his office said in a statement.
Dariga Nazarbayeva, 53, has previously served as deputy prime minister.
