ALMATY (Reuters) - Two people have died from a suspected anthrax virus in Kazakhstan and six more have been hospitalised, the health ministry said on Tuesday.

The suspected outbreak of the highly lethal virus happened in a village in the central Karaganda region, the ministry said in a statement. All eight people had eaten the meat of a sick cow.
