Switzerland’s new cabinet minister, Alain Berset

Social Democrat Alain Berset from Fribourg is Switzerland’s newest cabinet minister, following elections on Wednesday. Berset was the favoured candidate to replace party colleague and outgoing Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey. The father of three is an economist. (TSR/swissinfo.ch)
