The year in sound: Introducing Stanley
Switzerland's national ice hockey team may not have won world championship medals in 2001, but Swiss goalkeeper David Aebischer did manage to get his capable hands on the sport's biggest trophy.
As reserve goalie for North American NHL side the Colorado Avalanche, the 23-year-old from Fribourg saw his name engraved on the Stanley Cup this season, following the Av’s playoff finals victory over the New Jersey Devils.
