Rightwing politician claims minarets are a political symbol

The campaign to stop the building of any new minarets in Switzerland has been spearheaded by Ulrich Schlüer from the rightwing Swiss People's Party. He argues that minarets symbolise a political-religious claim to power.(Julie Hunt, swissinfo.ch)
