In Switzerland, as in many other countries, Brazilian musicians are well-known and respected.
Circumstances made some of them stay in Switzerland and, consequently, develop their art outside Brazil.

This double CD Edition, one programme featuring classical, the other popular music of Brazil, emerged from a series of interviews with some of these musicians. It was produced by the Portuguese department of swissinfo/Swiss Radio International.

This selection is a subjective one and not meant to be exhaustive. The intention was to show the variety of works of Brazilian musicians in Switzerland.
