Trained as a landscape gardener and building-site manager. Later studied art, and was programme director at various clubs and party locations. After eight years as head of the Cabaret Voltaire he worked as a social media journalist and content curator at the news site watson.ch, and is now working to see that swissinfo.ch is read, discussed, shared and gets “likes”.

The app “SWI plus – the briefing from Switzerland” consists of two relatively simple offerings:

  • A daily, compact briefing that provides a quick overview of the most important debates in Switzerland.
  • A forum that facilitates a goal-oriented exchange among the Swiss abroad and between the community and the editorial team.

It is aimed at all Swiss Abroad who wish to receive regular and concise information from their homeland – without having to spend a long time on social media and the relevant news portals.

At the same time, a debating space is being created that will efficiently address all sorts of issues of concern to the Swiss Abroad community.
