Celestini moves to France

The Swiss international, Fabio Celestini, has joined the French first division football club, Troyes, after five years with the Swiss side, Lausanne Sports. The 24 year-old from canton Vaud has become the French side's most expensive purchase ever.

Troyes paid Lausanne SFr2.2 million for Celestini's move. The attacking midfielder has signed on for three years with the club, which ended 14th in the French league this season.

Celestini is the second key player to leave Lausanne since the end of the season, following the departure of the Swede, Stefan Rehn. Lausanne Sports were second in the top Swiss division and narrowly lost the Swiss cup final.

Celestini has made six appearances in the national side.
