The show consists of oils and pastels by Farhard Ostovani, who is from Iran, and paintings by Zivo, who was born in Belgrade. All of the works draw their inspiration from the artists' early childhood in their respective countries of birth.

Ostovani has used shades of blue, red and brown to capture silhouettes of mountains, which are often mysterious but always objects of beauty and with a poetic quality.

For his part Zivo - who has spent most of his life in Switzerland - has taken a nostalgic look back at his childhood mainly through animals and birds, the latter being symbols of freedom.
