On arriving in the alpine resort of Grindelwald, you can’t help noticing all the signs in Japanese. The most prominent of these is for the Japanese Information Bureau, which was set up by Ichiro Ando and his wife Yasuyo, who came to Switzerland over 20 years ago. (Michele Andina, swissinfo.ch 2005)
