Swiss skier Didier Cuche has stayed atop the World Cup giant slalom standings after coming second in a contest in Slovenia.
Ted Ligety of the United States won the giant slalom race in Kranjska Gora on Saturday with a time of two minutes, 19.92 seconds.
Cuche was 0.19 seconds later and Massimiliano Blardone of Italy, 0.34 seconds after the leader, took third.
For the moment Cuche's performance means he remains top of the Cup's seasonal standings in the discipline.
The 34-year-old gained his first World Cup victory of the season in the men's giant slalom in Italy on February 21.
