A Swiss-eye view of 1940s Brazil

Born in Zurich in 1913, Hildegard Rosenthal lived and studied in Germany and spent two years in France. In 1937, with the rise of Nazism, she emigrated to Brazil, where she worked for the national and international press. She died in Brazil in 1990.
