Kratochvil aims to become fourth Swiss man at French Open
The Swiss Davis Cup player, Michel Kratochvil, is poised to join team mates Marc Rosset, Roger Federer and George Bastl in the draw for the French Open.
Kratochvil, from Berne, is only one match away from making it through to the first round. In the second qualifying round he needed three sets to beat the Spaniard, Albert Montanes, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4.
He’ll now face the Belgian, Olivier Rochus, in the third and final qualifying round for a place in the tournament, which begins on Monday.
