Helping FIFA get into shape

An independent governance committee set up to advise Zurich-based Fifa after a series of scandals has urged world football's governing body to carry out its recommendations for fundamental reform if it is to regain its credibility. 

The committee, overseen by Basel criminal law professor Mark Pieth, was set up by Fifa president Sepp Blatter in 2011 as part of his "road map" for reforming the organisation in the wake of an avalanche of corruption allegations. (SRF Tageschau/swissinfo.ch)
