Swiss to vote on an initiative to help low paid workers

Voters are to have the final say on whether the right to a minimum wage should be written into the constitution. The Trade Union Federation has handed in an initiative calling for a minimum wage of SFr4,000 ($4,350) per month, triple the European average. Swiss employers are against the proposal.
