Albin Brun Alpine Ensemble: Sphères Alpines
Folk / jazz. Over the years Lucerne saxofonist Albin Brun has become a renowned figure in Swiss folk-jazz. In his projects he inweaves successfully elements of traditional Swiss music without ever sounding superficial. The Alpine Ensemble is Brun's current new sextet and stands out, not least thanks to violinist Tobias Preisig and accordionist Patricia Draeger, who give the music a touch of satin.
