Floriano Inácio Jr.
Brazil / Jazz. Twenty-seven years young Brazilian Floriano Inácio Jr. is audibly blessed with musical genuiness. Born and raised in São Paulo he learned the piano and cavaquinho there while still in his teens. The eager youngster quickly immersed himself in the diverse Brazilian styles and soon thereafter began to play in bands all across the country. After an invitation to visit Switzerland in 1999 he decided to make it his home and completed his studies there at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. With the help of Brazilian cracks from Switzerland's latin-jazz scene he has just cut his debut album. It features sparkling originals with Inácio's piano radiating plenty of warmth and emotional intelligence.
