Gustav Mahler: Symphony No. 10. Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich & David Zinman, direction

swissinfo.ch

David Zinman describes this symphony as the "saddest chapter" in Mahler's great, ten-part symphonic novel, in which he bids his wife Alma farewell, speaks of his disillusionment with life, and looks to the future of music.
