Patrick Demenga, born in 1962, studied at the Bern Conservatory, in Cologne and in New York. Many prizes document the beginning of his career and he is now among the internationally renowned cellists.
Camerata Bern: Founded in 1963, the Camerata Bern has developed into a highly acclaimed chamber orchestra uniting musicians inspired by the idea of playing within a small flexible ensemble without a conductor. Under its artistic director Erich Höbart (and guest concert masters) Camerata Bern performs a broad repertoire ranging from early Baroque to contemporary composers.
