I just came back from my village where I spent 6 days. My village Shewa exists in District Swabi however bordering with District Buner. A heavy military operation against Taliban is going on in the four districts i.e. Buner, Lower Dir, Swat and Upper Dir. These are highlands however thickly populated. Most of the airplanes and helicopters pass over our village. Every night, I heard massive explosions and early in the morning saw many airplanes and helicopters going to the trouble districts. The conflict compelled thousands of people to flee from their homes and villages. So far nearly 700,000 people displaced . . . . .
