Blues / R'n'B / Pop. Twenty years ago Philipp Fankhauser started his blues career in his birthplace Thun. During the 90s his successive musical odysseys led him as far afield as the U.S., where he refined his craftsmanship under his legendary mentor Johnny Copeland. Today Fankhauser is Switzerland's biggest bluesman. His artistry also praised abroad, namely in Anglophone countries. On Try My Love his mature voice effortlessly plumbs the depths of stories about everyday life through eleven pieces, which range from ballads to funky upbeat numbers.
