New Swiss Folk Music / Instrumental. Rämschfädra means dandelion in the Valaisian Swiss-German dialect. This eponymous quintet made up of mainly classical musicians has committed itself to ancient Swiss folk music played in arrangements of the day. Due to their fervid live interpretations, Rämschfädra has attracted an ever-larger fan community over the past five years. Chrüz & Queer (Higgledy-Piggledy) features to a great extent native pieces out of the Swiss Folk Music Collection, edited by legendary musicologist Hanny Christen. Contemporary compositions by Swiss folk music eminences perfect this intoxicating musical journey all across the country.
