Rusconi: It’s A Sonic Life
Jazz / rock. The trio around pianist Stefan Rusconi releases a successor album following their debut on Sony of last year. It's A Sonic Life is a hommage to New York noise rock group Sonic Youth. Rusconi adapted their classics and interpreted them in a more silent way. Still you can make out some e.s.t. influences in the trio's music. A forte are the many long ensemble passages bearing a subtle ambient feel.
