Sylvie Courvoisier - Mark Feldman Quartet: To Fly To Steal

Improvised music. Over 10 years ago Lausanne pianist Sylvie Courvoisier left Switzerland to settle in New York. Once there she immediately joined the Knitting Factory circles. While still very influenced by Irene Schweizer in Switzerland, it was in America, where she began to enter further unknown waters of improvised music. This, namely along with her eminent violinist husband Mark Feldman. To Fly To Steal tells stories from the no man's where modern classical and jazz meet.
