New magazine makes its debut to guide investors
A new weekly economics magazine, "STOCKS", appeared on Swiss newsstands on Friday.
This content was published on November 3, 2000 - 11:27The magazine, aimed at investors, is being produced by Zurich's "Handelszeitung" publishing house, which is majority-owned by the Axel Springer group.
With a minimum of 80 pages, "STOCKS" will offer readers assessments about national and international shares, and about market sectors.
Earlier this week, a study showed that one in three Swiss now owns shares, with the number of shareholders doubling in the past three years to some 1.7 million.
"STOCKS" is also available online.
