International centre focus of spying allegations

International Geneva has come into the spotlight as part of the NSA spying affair.  (SRF/ARD/Der Spiegel/swissinfo.ch)

A British investigative journalist sees similarities between this installation on the roof of the American mission in Geneva and one on the roof of the US embassy in Berlin. 

Documents by whistleblower Edward Snowden also mention Geneva as a spying center. 

Swiss public television, SRF, spoke to the British journalist Duncan Campbell on the issue. The German weekly news magazine Der Spiegel followed up on Campbell’s theory. On Monday, it published a top secret NSA document which says that in 2010 the special NSA unit SCS was active in various locations. Geneva was one of them.
