Swiss dotcom signs deal with Hewlett-Packard
Switzerland's Fantastic Corporation has announced an agreement with California-based IT company, Hewlett-Packard, which will see the two companies cooperate on the delivery of broadband technology.
The alliance announced on Monday means that Hewlett-Packard will offer Fantastic’s software together with its own servers, PCs, consulting services and support.
“We are proud that Hewlett-Packard has selected Fantastic’s technology,” said Fantastic CEO, Reto Braun. “This relationship with Hewlett-Packard is an important step for Fantastic as it significantly extends our ability to deliver solutions to our customers.”
The two companies said they are also collaborating on trying to enhance Fantastic’s broadband distribution platforms for content providers and network operators.
“As a result of our alliance with Fantastic, we are adding a proven data broadcasting platform to our offering,” said Hewlett-Packard spokesman, Nigel Ball.
