Net sales for the first six months of the year at SFr10.44 million were almost equal to sales for the full year in 1999. Second quarter sales alone were SFr7.18 million.

Think Tools said the stronger second quarter sales were due to deals with clients in the banking and pharmaceutical sectors.

It is also preparing joint ventures with existing clients after announcing earlier in August that it is taking a 25 per cent stake in an e-bank being set up by the private bank, Vontobel.

Think Tools specialises in technology for problem-solving and knowledge management.

It has been one of the most successful of the companies to launch on the high-tech Swiss New Market index.
