Biofuel takes renewable energy out of woods.

A documentary and animation filmmaker from Bern, Michele studied film at Zurich University of the Arts. He's been a swissinfo.ch video journalist since 2004 and has a special interest in developing new video formats for mobile viewing, mixing animation and documentary styles.

The climate change debate has given a boost to renewable energy research. Wood is a source of energy that has a lot of potential. A team at the Paul Scherrer Institute is currently developing a new biofuel technology using what is a plentiful natural resource in Switzerland. (Michele Andina, swissinfo.ch)
