My daily work focuses on selecting and adapting stories suitable for an Arabic-language audience interested in what is happening in the world from a Swiss perspective. I also work with the editorial team covering International Geneva.
Born in Tunisia, I studied literature and philosophy at Morocco University and hold a Master's degree in translation from the University of Geneva. I have been working at SWI swissinfo.ch since 2008.
An award-winning journalist and Head of the Arabic Department at SWI swissinfo.ch, I cover migration, human rights and foreign affairs.
I worked for several Arab and international media outlets before moving to Switzerland in 2021.
Whether it’s sharing and creating stories or a deep dive into the week’s top headlines about the Arabic-speaking world, I am passionate about sparking meaningful dialogue on pressing political issues and their impact on our daily lives.
With a BA and MA in Political Science from the Freie Universität Berlin and experience at international media organizations like Deutsche Welle, Al Jazeera, and the BBC, I joined SWI swissinfo.ch in 2017. We are driven by a passion for journalism that not only informs but inspires.
