Paying fines in cash
The cabinet plans to expand the fixed penalty system. In the past, it was possible to pay minor traffic fines in cash, on the spot. The idea is to include other minor offences such as smoking in public areas or skiing through wildlife reserves. The aim is to save the authorities time and money. (SRF/swissinfo.ch)
