Getting children involved in carnival

It’s carnival week in Basel and the streets are alive with colourful processions and musical groups, among them the Schnurebegge drum-and-fife group. This group has been making a big effort to recruit young members, in order to ensure the future of Basel’s traditional festival to scare away the spirits of winter. (Julie Hunt, swissinfo.ch/SRF)
