It's twenty years since the first woodland kindergartens got going in Switzerland -  now they've sprung up like mushrooms in many forests.  (SRF/swissinfo.ch)

But this form of nature-based teaching has come in for its fair share of criticism: some say you don’t learn to read or write when you’re busy hugging trees. Despite the opposition, there are now over 40 such kindergartens and schools in German-speaking Switzerland. (SRF/swissinfo.ch)
