Communications minister communicates on line
More than one million people have visited the weblog which Communications Minister Moritz Leuenberger has been keeping since June 2007.
This content was published on July 4, 2008 - 15:30His latest blog sums up his activity in the past year. So far he has written 70 entries, and more than 5,000 readers have left comments.
The number of readers has grown steadily between October and June. But Leuenberger expects numbers to fall off during the summer.
He compared the blog to a public meeting place where people can exchange opinions.
"I am convinced that the ways people communicate haven't changed fundamentally, but thanks to technological innovations they have speeded up and numbers involved can be much larger," he commented.
