Huber and Suhner show record profits
The transmission technology company, Huber and Suhner, posted record profits on Tuesday on sales growth of 28 per cent.
Turnover rose to a record SFr908 million ($565 million) on the back of a sharp upswing in communications technologies. Incoming orders increased by 39 per cent to more than SFr1 billion. No profit figures were released.
Sales of data and signal communications technologies jumped more than 45 per cent as mobile phone and internet transmission infrastructures were expanded around the world.
Detailed results are due in April.
