Imam training centre attracts controversy
The University of Fribourg has recently opened the Centre for Islam and Society. It has started offering lectures and seminars for imams, although an initiative proposed by the Swiss People’s Party calling for the centre to be closed is still pending. (SRF/swissinfo.ch)
