It's great to be alone again. I wouldn't have traded Andrea's company for the world.

But after the last weeks of preparation for this trip and general craziness, I’ll revel in today’s solitude. If the weather is cooperative I’ll even bivouac outside tonight. Weather is the big question. I’m hoping to climb a via ferrata up the Sulzfluh to gain a spectacular border ridge. But the forecast is for rain, and we slept in so late this morning that the afternoon weather will soon be upon me. Better get going!
