Railways build on rich heritage
The Swiss Federal Railways has been awarded the 2005 Wakker Prize by Switzerland's National Heritage Society, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, swissinfo is taking a look at some of the Federal Railways' architectural gems. Its buildings are not only functional but also architecturally impressive, respecting tradition and Swiss history. They enjoy international renown and are part of the country's identity.
