A Swiss, and a Portuguese resident of Switzerland, have been confirmed as being among those killed in Thursday’s bomb attack on a cafe in Marrakech.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday Moroccan authorities had idenfied the pair among those killed. They had been travelling with two Swiss women who were seriously injured in the attack.
The attack on the cafe in the busy Djemma el-Fna square in Marrakech killed 16 people and injured more than 20.
The two women injured in the attack arrived back in Switzerland by air ambulance late on Friday night and were immediately transferred to hospital.
Police have yet to identify the perpetrators of the attack, which was the deadliest in Morocco in eight years.
