A win in Bern on Wednesday will be enough to see FC Basel clinch the Swiss football title with three games to spare.
After dominating the winter season, Christian Gross's men have barely let up since the start of the championship round. A 3-0 win over Sion at the weekend along with draws for nearest rivals Lugano and Grasshoppers Zurich have now put Basel firmly in the driving seat for title glory.
Two goals from Koumantarakis and one from Giminez sealed the weekend win for Basel, who now have a 10-point lead over second-placed Lugano going into Wednesday's match against Young Boys Bern.
