Young Boys of Bern have beaten Getafe of Spain 2-0 in a group match played at home in Uefa’s Europa League.

David Degen was the match winner for Young Boys, hitting the back of the net in the 11th and 64th minute.
The match was played in front of only 12,830 spectators but it puts Young Boys back in with a chance of going through to the next stage of the competition.
They lost by three goals to nil in their first group match played in Stuttgart two weeks ago.
Stuttgart lead Group H of the competition with six points after two matches, followed by Young Boys and Getafe, which both have three.
Before Thursday’s match, Getafe had not lost a European game since a shock 2-1 home loss against Hapoel Tel Aviv in the 2007/08 Uefa Cup group stage.
In other Europa League action, Swiss side Lausanne lost away to Palermo of Italy by one goal to nil. The home side scored the all-important goal in the 78th minute, leaving Lausanne at the bottom of their group with no points after two matches played.
