Gagliardi eases into Strasbourg quarter-finals
Swiss number three Emmanuelle Gagliardi is through to the quarter-finals in Strasbourg after defeating the Czech Republic's Zuzana Ondraskova 6-2, 6-3.
It was the Geneva player’s second straight sets victory having beaten Angelique Widjaja from Indonesia 6-2, 6-1 in the first round.
Gagliardi will face the tournament’s number three seed, Meghann Shaughnessy, for a place in the semi-finals.
